Games Online Contest #21
5 First Prizes: A one-year subscription to GAMES
Easy as A, B, C?
A. Here are three sequences of proper names. Use the same logical principle to complete each sequence with one more name (replacing the question mark). All three names that you add will be names (either first names or only names) of characters on the same TV series.
1. RIVER, TESS, CRYSTAL, ?
2. LILY, AVA, ?
3. NICK, VINCENT, ZACH, ?
Identify the letters in the three names that are not found in the full name of the TV series in which the characters appear. These letters are the answer to Part A.
B. The answer to Part B is the four-letter name for a meson that is sometimes composed of an up quark and an anti-down quark. It's also the French name for something you'd place on a chessboard.
C. The answer to Part C is the two-letter abbreviation for the U.S. state that was the first to display its official website address on its license plates.
Take the answer letters from Parts A, B, and C above and rearrange them to form a single word. That word is the answer to the contest.
