You have an unlimited
supply of tiles having the two possible patterns shown above, which may be rotated to any desired orientation. If you place 12 of these tiles in the empty spaces around the four tiles in the center of the array, making sure that paths always connect with like-colored paths, one of the paths will become a closed loop (which may be any size and shape). Will the loop be black or white?
